7 years

It seems like just yesterday that Craig and I were getting married. We have just celebrated yet another anniversary. It has been 7 years now and so much has changed. As you may have noticed we have had a beautiful baby boy who is now, can you believe it, 10 months old. He is just about walking now, taking 3 to 4 steps at a time. Most of the time it is not very graceful to watch but he is figuring it out one fall and bump at a time. And would you know that the day after Christmas he cut his very first tooth. He loves to run his tongue over it. But don't be surprised if he doesn't let you look at it. If we try and open his mouth to look in his tongue immediately pops out and covers it, almost cartoon like. Other than a few days of crankiness ranging from 1 to we'd say about an 3 or 4 on a scale of 1 to 10, Camden seems to be surviving his first tooth. He is acting more needy than usual for saying he will go to just about anyone without a problem. We love that he so willing to snuggle but also hope that he will return to his normal curious and independent state soon enough. We have been very lucky. We figure that our next child will be a little hellion because of what an angel Camden has been. Now that he is more mobile he is able to make more messes and it can sometimes be a challenge just to keep up with him. But we would never give him away. We have been so very blessed.

Daddy and mommy let me pick out my very own "punkin" and boy was it cold.

Camden has mastered the art of climbing into his toy box. He especially enjoys tipping it over and pulling everything out. If you look closely you will notice his chubby knees.

Meeting my new cousin Alex Loveridge

Alex comes from Taiwan and was adopted by Craig's Sister Julie and her husband Dustin. Alex is 3 months older, but from what we have seen so far they are going to be best buddies.

Both Camden and Alex love to play with their ears. I don't know about Alex but Camden also finds comfort in other peoples ears as well.

Cars are in my blood

It must be in Camden's blood because the first time he found a car he new just what to do.

Today I turned 7 Months old

We can't believe how fast to time as flown by. Camden is now 7 months old and is rolling all over the place. He has even got himself stuck under a few tables and couches.

Life is so much better when you laugh

Camden's first visit to the dinosaur museam in Odgen. He didn't really care about the dinosaurs but loved all the noise they were making.

I love to Laugh

Camden never ceases to amaze us with how happy and easy going he is. He loves to laugh and smile at just about anyone or anything. This time he was laughing at our dog Daisy and the wind blowing the trees outside.

So many chickens

There were so many chickens and roosters making noise at the fair that Camden was not sure what ones to look at first. If you listen closely you can here him laughing at them in the background.

Trip to the Davis County Fair

Camden loved all the animals, especially the ones he could touch. He laughed at them almost as much as he laughs at his doggy Daisy.

Daisy the mighty protector

Daisy is very protective of her little brother. When he falls asleep on the the floor she curls up right next to him. Maybe she thinks he needs a buddy to sleep with.

Garden goodness

For the past four and a half years we have planted a garden, some more successful than others. This year we think we have done pretty good. We have harvested zucchini, yellow squash, cucumbers, and tomatoes. Our corn is very close to being ready and the beans are loaded with buds.

Yum this cereal is good

Camden's first experience with cereal was a memorable one. He tried to help me get the spoon in his mouth. We decided to start feeding him because he has recently become very interested in the food that we put in our mouths. He loves it and has started to lean toward the spoon.

Camden has mastered rolling over

He has figured out how to roll over from his tummy to his back but when he tries to do it the other way around his darn arms get in the way and he gets stuck on his side.

Good morning sunshine ~ July 6 2008

We can't wait till morning because Camden never fails to greet us with a smile.

He must either think we are really funny or he is just so glad to be in our family, because he has been smiling since day one.

Camden gets so excited to see us in the mornings that he forgets that he is hungry and we have to remind him to eat. Especially since he sleeps 8 to 10 hours at night.
